Ron Hickie
President, Energy
Ron W. Hickie is the President of SCIS Energy. His primary responsibility is to provide outstanding service to the nuclear, petrochemical and other critical infrastructure clients by creating an organization that people want to work for and with.
Fresh out of college Ron began his career in the security industry as a nuclear security officer at Yankee Atomic Electric Company. In less than ten years he was the Project Manager at an operating nuclear power plant and continued to work his way up from there.
In 2009 Ron stepped into the role of Region President for the Securitas Energy Services Sector. To better align with Securitas business needs the Energy Services Sector took on the current Petrochemical business in the Gulf Coast Area in 2012 and became Critical Infrastructure Services. Under his leadership the Critical Infrastructure Services Division became the forefront in providing security services to highly regulated industry clients throughout the United States.
At the end of the 2013 fiscal year, Pinkerton Government Services merged with the Critical Infrastructure Division to form Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services (SCIS). Ron took on the role as President of SCIS Energy and continues his legacy of leadership in specialty security services.
