Nicolas A. Re, CPP

President, Aerospace & Defense

 

Mr. Re has over 20 years experience in the commercial security and defense/aerospace industries including executive management, infrastructure development, operations oversight, and business development.  Mr. Re joined Pinkerton Government Services, Inc. (now SCIS) through the acquisition of American Protective Services (APS) in January 2000. In his tenure with these combined organizations, he has worked in all management levels bringing innovation and leadership to the creation of the organization’s proven business model.

 

As a Program Manager on assignment with a large defense contractor, Mr. Re built and managed a security workforce for multiple locations in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. His responsibilities included physical security oversight, training, personnel management, and customer relations. Since that assignment, he has served as Branch Manager in Fort Smith, Arkansas and in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he worked to develop existing business throughout the Midwest while building operational support for defense industry clients. For nine years, he served as Area Vice President for the Northern U.S and then two years as Vice President of Operations based in Springfield, VA. In addition to operations oversight, his contributions to infrastructure development have included national account management, human resources management, business development, refinement of corporate policy, state licensing, and training.

 

Mr. Re is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.

 

Mr. Re’s professional affiliations include memberships in the National Classification Management Society, American Society for Industrial Security, the National Defense Industrial Association and various other industrial security awareness councils and associations.

Mitch Mervosh

District Director, Central U.S.

 

Mr. Mervosh joined SCIS in early 2004 and is based in our Kansas City, MO office. Mitch works very closely with his area to develop a better operational plan and savings for both the clients and SCIS. Prior to joining SCIS, Mitch had a successful career in law enforcement including the Wichita Police Department, the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

 

Mitch has been involved in developing and managing Security and Safety training programs throughout his career in the private sector. Mitch has been classified and testified as a security expert in State and Federal Court levels on security matters. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business/Human Resources from Friends University, Wichita and currently is working on his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Baker University and on his Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Mitch is an active member of ASIS, NCMS and the Metro Chiefs of Police for the Kansas and Missouri area.

Clifford Johnson

District Director, Atlantic States

 

Mr. Johnson joined SCIS in August 2005 after retiring from a decorated 22 year career in the United States Marine Corps. His knowledge and experience in security operations, combined with excellence in customer service, make Cliff a valuable part of the SCIS Management Team.

 

Cliff has a vast number of years of experience in the security industry as a business owner and also as the Operations Manager for the Northern Virginia Branch where he managed some very large and distinguished service contracts including BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Nortel Government Solutions, AT&T Government Solutions, Juniper Networks, SAIC and Booz Allen Hamilton. Prior to his current assignment, Cliff was the Branch Manager for the Greater Virginia area.  He is devoted to establishing and exceeding customer satisfaction by constantly striving for the utmost quality.

Paul Paczek

District Director, Northeast U.S.

 

Mr. Paczek joined the SCIS in September 2004 as the Program Manager for the United States Postal Inspection Service National Law Enforcement Control Center in Dulles, VA. In the next four years, he went on to manage security operations on our Northrop Grumman and Booz Allen Hamilton contracts. Through his tenure in Northern Virginia, Mr. Paczek has gained valuable experience in security operations, personnel management, NISPOM compliance, leadership and customer service.

 

Mr. Paczek previously served as Branch Manager in Maryland for three years. In his current capacity, Mr. Paczek oversees SCIS service and business operations in the Northeast states. Prior to coming to SCIS, Mr. Paczek served for seven years as the Director of Information Services for the Riverdale Police Department in Riverdale, MD. Mr. Paczek has had operational oversight over four divisions within the department including Communications, Records, Systems Administration and Automated Enforcement. In the management of the Automated Enforcement Division, he worked with the state legislature and judicial system to implement one of the first red light camera systems in the state of MD. For his work at the Riverdale PD, Mr. Paczek was twice awarded the Prince George’s County Chiefs of Police Employee of the Year Award.

Jonathan Conteh

District Director, Western U.S.

 

Mr. Conteh has over 8 years of experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) security industry. Prior to his current role as District Director, Jonathan served as a Program Manager with 11 accounts consisting of over 100 employees in the Southern California Area.

 

Prior to joining SCIS, Jonathan was as a State Trooper. His expertise includes extensive surveillance experience analyzing documentation, tailing suspects, researching legal databases, and interrogations.

 

In 2003, Jonathan was recognized and published in the National Dean’s List, the largest, most prestigious publication in the country recognizing gifted college students with GPA’s of 3.6 and above. Jonathan’s resourcefulness and excellent oral and written communication skills make him an invaluable asset to his district staff and the SCIS team.
