Tom Marten

Vice President

 

Mr. Marten joined Securitas Aviation USA, Inc. (SAUSA) in 2014 and is responsible for managing and growing Securitas Aviation’s business and operations in the United States. Tom brings over 25 years of experience in government and industry, with a consistent focus on aviation security, law enforcement, and information technology.

 

Prior to joining Securitas, he was Vice President at SITA in Geneva where he led the Government Solution Line to become the largest provider of aviation security technology solutions to airports and governments worldwide. He led project management, mobilization, and operations as General Manager for SITA’s largest and highest profile aviation security project, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His government service includes 10 years as a career Foreign Service Officer in the US Department of State, where he led bilateral civil aviation negotiations between the US and South Korea.

 

Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Georgetown University. He is a graduate of France’s Ecole Nationale d’Administration, and Institut des Hautes Etudes de la Defense Nationale. In addition to his native English, he speaks French, Spanish and Arabic.

 

His professional memberships and affiliations include ACI, AAAE, and IATA. Tom has received the State Department’s Meritorious and Superior Honor Awards, and was nominated for the State Department’s Human Intelligence Collector of the Year Award during his first Foreign Service tour in Rwanda.

Bob Maydoney

Vice President

 

Mr. Maydoney is a Vice President with Securitas Aviation USA, Inc. (SAUSA). He has been with the SAUSA’s parent Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. (SCIS) since 2000 serving in varying capacities including Area Manager and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to 2000 he was with Pinkerton Inc. which was acquired by Securitas AB.

 

Bob came to Pinkerton in 1997 after a distinguished career of over 20 years in the United States Army.  During his career he served in many leadership capacities, retiring as a First Sergeant. He served in the Military Police Corps and US Army Recruiting Command. As a Military Police Working Dog Handler he was recognized for his work and establishment of a working dog program in Germany. Bob served as an instructor at the DOD Military Working Dog School and also served as a course designer. As a member of the Army Recruiting Command he achieved the highest award, the Recruiter’s Ring.

 

After coming to Pinkerton, Bob worked as an Operations Manager, District Manager, and Sales representative before moving to SCIS after the Securitas acquisition of Pinkerton.

 

He is a graduate of Columbus University and a member of AAAE and ASIS. He is certified as a Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) by AAAE.

 

His military honors include: Meritorious Service Medal (3), Army Commendation Medal (8), Army Achievement Medal (14), and the Army Good Conduct Medal (7).
